About the author
Akila Dada: Akila Dada is an Educator and Child Life Specialist based in Toronto, Ontario. She works at a children's hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, where she applies her professional expertise in supporting young patients and their families. Beyond her hospital work, Akila serves as a team lead volunteer with SMILE Canada - Support Services, an organization dedicated to children living with disabilities and their families, where she plans creative and educational events. She is also the co-author of the children's picture book 'A Bedtime Prayer for Peace'. Akila has a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures around the world.
About the illustrator
Michael Wagstaffe: Michael Wagstaffe is a graphic designer and Packaging Management professional based in Hamilton. He has drawn throughout his life, beginning with a love of nature before expanding his influences to include the works of Michelangelo and a wide range of contemporary artists. This lifelong dedication to visual art led him to a career spanning both graphic design and packaging management. He is the illustrator of the children's picture book 'A Bedtime Prayer for Peace'. He lives and works in Hamilton with his wife and their two children.
