"المرضاة مع المرقاة" رسالةُ المتكلّم الحنفي الهندي العقلاني فضل إمام الخيرآبادي — مَضْمومةً مع ذَيْلها القصير "المرقاة" — في معالجة المسائل الفلسفية والكلامية التي طَرَحَها الفكرُ الأرسطي حين دَخَل المدرسة الحنفية الماتريدية بالهند في القرن التاسع عشر. الكتابُ من تَقْليد المدرسة الخيرآباديّة في الكلام الحنفي العقلاني المتأخّر، الذي اسْتَخْدَم المنطقَ اليوناني-الإسلامي والميتافيزيقا مع المحافظة على الالتزامات العَقَدية السنّية الماتريدية.

فضل إمام الخيرآبادي (١٢٤٤-١٢٧٨ هـ) متكلِّمٌ حنفيٌّ هنديٌّ عقلانيٌّ من مدرسة خيرآباد، ابنُ العلامة فضل حقّ الخيرآبادي الذي شارَك في انتفاضة ١٨٥٧ الهنديّة. كان تَقْليدُ خيرآباد يَجْمَع بين الاشتغال المُسْتَمِرّ بالمنطق والفلسفة والكلام العقلاني والالتزام بالأرثوذكسية الحنفية الماتريدية.

Fadl Imam al-Khayrabadi: Fadl Imam al-Khayrabadi (1244-1278 AH / 1828-1862 CE) rahimahullah was a South Asian Hanafi rationalist theologian of the celebrated Khayrabad school of Islamic thought. He was the son of the renowned Fadl Haqq al-Khayrabadi, the scholar who participated in the 1857 Indian Uprising against British colonial rule. The Khayrabadi tradition distinguished itself by cultivating a sustained and rigorous engagement with Aristotelian logic, Islamic philosophy, and rationalist kalam, all within a firm commitment to Hanafi-Maturidi doctrinal orthodoxy.
