Hashim Mahdi: Dr. Hashim Mahdi received his foundational education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before earning his Ph.D. in the United States and undertaking further academic qualifications in the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Islamic Academy, Cambridge, reflecting his engagement with comparative Islamic scholarship in the Western academic context. For close to two and a half decades he has been associated with the Muslim World League in a range of capacities, serving most recently as International Strategic Expert. His academic engagement extends to serving as a visiting professor at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, one of Europe's foremost research universities. He has also contributed to educational development through curriculum design for Dar al-Fikr secondary schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and through collaborative work with Umm al-Qura University in Makka. His authored and editorial works appear in Arabic, French, and English, including Muslim Personal Law and the editorial oversight of al-Mawsua al-Akhlaqiyya li-l-Sunna al-Nabawiyya.
