About the author

Noor H.dee: Noor H. Dee (Hadi) is an Indonesian children's author and editor born in 1982. He works as a children's book editor at Noura Books Publishing, an imprint of PT Mizan Publika, one of the largest book publishing groups in Indonesia. He has authored more than twenty children's titles in Indonesian, with his book 25 Nabi & Rasul (25 Prophets and Apostles) ranking as a bestseller in Indonesia. Four of his books have been translated into English by Kube Publishing (The Islamic Foundation) in London, among them the I Say board book series: I Say Bismillah, I Say Alhamdulillah, I Say As-Salamu Alaykum, and I Say MashAllah. Each book in the series follows young siblings Nabil and Noura as they learn to use a foundational Arabic Islamic expression in its natural everyday context, with illustrations by Iput. In 2019, Noor H. Dee was invited to the Asian Publisher Fellowship Program in Seoul, South Korea, where he spoke on the subject of children's books and future reading in the digital age. His work also includes self-published Indonesian titles and collaboration with international literary organizations.

About the translator

Shera Diva Sihbudi: Shera Diva Sihbudi is an Indonesian translator known for her English-language rendition of Noor H. Dee's I Say board book series, published by The Islamic Foundation (Kube Publishing) in 2019. The four books, I Say Bismillah, I Say Alhamdulillah, I Say As-Salamu Alaykum, and I Say MashAllah, were originally written in Indonesian and published by Noura Books (an imprint of PT Mizan Publika) in 2015. Her translations brought this children's series to an international English-speaking Muslim audience, preserving the accessible tone and everyday situational contexts of the originals. Each board book introduces a key Arabic Islamic expression to toddlers and young children through the characters of Nabil and Noura, illustrated by Iput. Further biographical details about Shera Diva Sihbudi beyond her work on this series are not publicly available.

About the illustrator

Iput: Iput is an Indonesian illustrator whose work spans Islamic children's books and Indonesian-language picture books. In the international market, Iput is known primarily for illustrating the I Say board book series authored by Noor H. Dee and published by The Islamic Foundation (Kube Publishing) in 2019: I Say Bismillah, I Say Alhamdulillah, I Say As-Salamu Alaykum, and I Say MashAllah. Each book uses Iput's bright, accessible illustrations to show young children Nabil and Noura using an everyday Arabic Islamic expression in a relatable context. The series was originally published in Indonesian by Noura Books, an imprint of PT Mizan Publika, one of Indonesia's largest publishing groups, and Iput has collaborated with Noura Books on other titles including Odong-Odong Dongeng. Iput uses a single-name mononym, as is common in Indonesian convention. Further biographical details are not publicly documented.
