Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow: Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow is a passionate educator, anti-racism activist, wife, and mother based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a 2016 MuslimARC Muslim Anti-Racism AMEL Fellow, reflecting her sustained commitment to racial justice within Muslim communities. Her debut picture book, Mommy's Khimar (SS003), introduces young readers to Islamic identity and the beauty of the headscarf through a child's loving perspective on her mother. She lives in Philadelphia with her family.

Ebony Glenn: Ebony Glenn is an illustrator and visual artist living on the quiet outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. She holds an arts degree in drawing and painting from the University of North Georgia (UNG). Her artistic vision centers on creating fanciful, whimsical illustrations that enrich literary experiences for readers, particularly children. She illustrated Mommy's Khimar, the debut picture book by Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow, bringing its celebration of Islamic identity and maternal love to life through vibrant and charming imagery.
