About The Book
Among the terrible signs of the world's final days, according to the Holy Qur'an, is the appearance of Ya'juj and Ma'juj. The same event was also mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as one of ten tribulations proceeding the Last Hour.
These people, known in the Bible as Gog and Magog, represent a destructive force which Allah in his Mercy has held in check over the ages since the time of Dhu'I-Qarnayn: see Sura 18, al Kahf, 92-2. Belief in their re-emergence into the world is an article of faith for Muslims, for the Holy Qur'an warns us:
"Whoever works any act of Righteousness and has faith his endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour, but there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, until the Gog and Magog are let through the barrier and they swiftly swarm from every hill".
