About The Book
In a bustling oasis called Madinah a small tabby cat, Hurayrah, has lost his friend. The lonely Hurayrah sets out to find him and looks over the bazaar and on top of the mosque. After searching high and low Hurayrah waits in the mosque, beside a resting man. But with the appearance of a snake, Hurayrah must save the man in peril.
About The Author
Farah Morley lives in Wales, United Kingdom. She has lectured to diverse audiences, including the BBC, the internationally renowned Beyond the Border festival, The Quest Foundation, and the UK government. She lives in Wales with her husband and their children. She has written and illustrated one other children's book, The Spider and the Doves.
About The Illustrator
Alexandra Nyerges is a young American illustrator with a ton of talent. Kube commissioned her to work on Hurayrah the Cat: The Snake Catcher in 2012, a book that has finally been published (two years later) and is being enjoyed by children all over the world. During the process of briefing her and fine-tuning the illustrations she actually had high-school to attend, and a bright future at college to consider.
