About The Book

“Love For Allah,” by Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad, intimately explores the importance of having love for Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He), and the effects that love can have on the heart of a believer. Most importantly however, the book delves into how a person can develop a sincere love for their Creator.

The remaining chapters of the book explore the signs that mark those believers that truly love Allah and the benefits that are reaped for that love. These themes are explored through the stories of the companions of the Prophet (May Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) and the successive generations of righteous believers.

Interspersed throughout the text are English translations of Arabic and Urdu poems, which highlight the concepts discussed.

About The Author

Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad is one of leading Shaykahs of Tasawwuf in the present era. Formally granted authorization (ijazah) in the Naqshbandi spiritual path (Trariqah), he retired from his position as an electrical engineer at the age of forty to devote himself entirely to the service of Islam. He regularly travels to more than thirty countries transforming the lives of people all over the world.

A testament to his deep love for Allah, his uncompromising dedication to Sunnah of the blessed Prophet , and his firm adherence to Islamic Law (Shariah) is that thousands of religious scholars and students of Islamic learning are among his students (murids). Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad regularly delivers lectures in both English and Urdu across the world. Furthermore, he has written dozens of books many of which have been translated into several languages. About The Translator

Shaykh Mufti Kamaluddin Ahmed is a qualified Islamic scholar and university academic in the field of Islamic studies, specializing in Qur’an, Hadith, Law, History, Spirituality, and Ethics. He is currently a Doctoral Fellow in Islamic Intellectual History at the Berlin Graduate School. Born and raised in Manhattan, he has Bachelors from the University of Chicago and a Masters from the University of Oxford.

He also traveled and spent many years pursuing an intensive full-time study of the classical disciplines of Islamic learning and was awarded formal certifications as an ‘Alim and Mufti. For the past 20 years, he has consistently remained in the close company of the honourable Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad and in 2002 was authorized by him as a Shaykh of spiritual purification and development (tazkiyah). Since then, he has formally guided seekers on the spiritual path of becoming closer to Allah (Swt) and regularly delivers talks and offers courses at universities, masjids, and institutions of learning in countries across the UK, Europe, and South Africa.

The Shaykh has also established academies offering free education in classical Islamic learning and spirituality through both live and online courses for men and women around the world.
