Mawlid Barzanji, authored by Imam Ja'far bin Hasan al-Barzanji, is one of the most renowned and frequently recited mawlids in honour of the Prophet Muhammad; peace be upon him.

This poetic work narrates the significant moments in the Prophet’s life, including his primordial nature, his blessed lineage, the miraculous events surrounding his birth, his childhood, adulthood, marriage, the First Revelation, the Year of Sadness, the Night Ascension, his migration from Makka to Madina and his pen portrait as described by Umm Ma’bad.
