About The Book
After the Qur’an, the prophetic traditions (Hadith) are the most recognized source of wisdom in Islam. These traditions offer readers down the ages a glimpse of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) sayings and actions. Amongst the Hadith literature, Sahih Muslim is second only to the collection of Imam Bukhari, and is recognized by scholars of history and religion for its reliability.
The hadith collection of Imam Muslim (d. 261 CE/875 AH), like that of Bukhari, has been the object of innumerable commentaries since its compilation. This book contains 54 books of doctrine and jurisprudence with over 3000 ahadith.
These hadiths are numbered by Sheikh Muhammad Fouad Abd al-Baqi, may Allah have mercy on him, and are therefore identical to the indexed glossary of the wording of the noble hadith. This edition came in a single volume of 1,200 pages without deleting anything from the book or shortening its words
