About The Book
Much controversy has been sparked in recent years and Muslims offended and provoked by disrespectful and blasphemous acts stemming from certain quarters of the Western world. No expense has been spared to spread the vile propaganda and smear the exalted character of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. For a Muslim, the sanctity, respect and honour of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is above all else. It is therefore only natural that such deliberate acts of provocation be met with expressions of anger and outrage from Muslim communities.
However, the biggest tragedy of all these events is that they spring from a single source: a lack of acquaintance with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. If non-Muslims do not know much about the true exalted nature and character of the Seal of all the Prophets ﷺ, this is indeed a shame; but if Muslims themselves are ignorant of him ﷺ this is nothing short of a self-inflicted disaster. To love the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is an integral part, nay, the very essence of this glorious religion.
The only way the Muslim Ummah can regain its glory and triumph is to reconnect itself with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ - by learning about his pristine life in order to internalise his lofty and noble character.
The Life of the Chosen One ﷺ is a 2-volume translation of Sīrat al-Mustafaﷺ – a comprehensive, detailed and in-depth work on the sublime life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It covers most, if not all, of the significant events in his blessed life ﷺ.
This is one of the most reliable in-depth books on sīrah currently available in the English language.
It is in 2 volumes hardback. The first volume covers the Makkan period of his blessed life whilst the second volume covers the Madinan period as well the his Shama’il (sublime characteristics) and khaṣa’il (exclusivities) and muʿjizat (miracles).
