This bundle is a collection of Dr. Mostafa al-Badawi's important works on Islamic eschatology and metaphysics. Dr. Badawi is a distinguished thinker and scholar who has studied under many shaykhs, foremost among whom is the late Habib Ahmad Mashhur al-Haddad.

These three books were intended to be read together, with each covering a complementary aspect of Islamic metaphysics.

Man & the Universe:

It is now obvious that something has gone very wrong in the West, and that psychological and social alternatives have become pressing issues. In this timely book, Dr. Badawi reminds us that Islam has a historically verifiable track record for healing social chaos and individual tragedy. Sadly, the principles of Islam have all too often been suppressed by the deluge of educational materials, media, and socio-economic strangulation from the West.

Dr. Badawi provides a powerful overview of Islamic metaphysics and unearths its spiritual, social and ethnic values as well as a diagnosis of modern man. This is an urgent piece of writing about what we are and where we are.

In this timely book, Dr. Mostafa al-Badawi shows that revealed knowledge is the source of traditional wisdom, and that the Islamic faith and civilization have a veritable ‘track record’ of healing individual and social disintegration. The author presents a penetrating diagnosis of the illnesses of humanity today, together with a fascinating overview of the Islamic metaphysic, unearthing its spiritual and moral values and its timeless relevance and applicability. Man and the Universe is a compelling and urgently needed piece of writing about what we human beings are, where we stand, and what we can do about it.

Twilight of a World:

We Muslims have been amply forewarned about these days, having received from our Blessed Prophet—may peace be upon him—detailed knowledge of what is now actually taking place, together with instructions on how to cope with these perils. There is a large corpus of Prophetic traditions concerning the Latter Days and the events that lead up to them.

For the Prophet—may God’s blessings and peace be upon him—informed us, his people, of everything we need to know in order to navigate the storms that he knew were sure to come our way.

Not only did he teach us our creed, Sacred Law, and how to enhance our spirituality, but also the signs by which we should be able to recognize which stage of the history of our community we have reached and what ought to be done about it.

Higher Reality:

Communities have always held some notion of unseen realms regardless of religion or culture. However, the modern age - an age of extreme materialism - is an anomaly in this regard with its systematic erosion of such ideas from the very psyche of man. People are finding it progressively more difficult to comprehend realities that exist beyond the framework of the physical world and how they tie in to the familiar material dimension we have become immersed in.

'' When Friday comes, angels stand at the door of the
Mosques, recording the order in which people enter,
the first ones first. Once the Imam sits on the pulpit,
they fold up their records and enter to listen to the
                          remembrance.''

This unique book seeks to take the reader through various unseen realms that exist outside, or alongside the physical reality we experience. Drawing from the rich Islamic Tradition the author begins to unravel the various worlds of dreams, angels, demons, spirits and how man has experienced these realities throughout the ages.
