About The Book
This is the first in the series of five books on the life and teachings of the Prophets of Allah as mentioned in the Qur’an. A biography of each prophet is written in simple language for young children using only the Qur’an and Ahadith as the sources. The creation of Adam (A.S) as the first man and the first prophet created by Allah is introduced as the first lesson in the teaching of history.
Children are introduced to the Islamic paradigm of the theory of Creation that is the world is created by Allah with kun, not through evolution and the first man was created by Allah was the most knowledgeable and intelligent being. Volume I contains colorfully illustrated biographies and teachings of Prophets Adam (A.S.), Nuh (A.S.), Hud (A.S.), and Saleh (A.S.).
The book is written at the second and third grade reading level. Teachers and parents will be required to read the stories to the Kindergartners who are not yet independent readers.
About The Author
Suhaib Hamid Ghazi is a published author of children's books. Some of the published credits of Suhaib Hamid Ghazi include The Prophets of Allah (Prophets of Allah), Ramadan. Suhaib Hamid Ghazi is the author of three previous books, which form part of The Prophets of Allah series published by Iqra.'
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and later moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he lived for six years. A recent graduate of the University of Redlands, Mr. Ghazi majored in both Political Science and Business Administration. He now works for American Express Financial Advisers and lives in Skokie, Illinois.
